DRG is Winner of MDEA 2014 Bronze Award
DRG today announced that DRG:HYBRiD-XL, a fully automated continuous access analyzer manufactured by DRG Diagnostics GmbH (Marburg, Germany), has been selected as the Bronze Winner in the "In Vitro Diagnostic Products and Systems" category of the 2014 Medical Design Excellence Awards competition.
DRG:HYBRiD-XL allows, for the first time, simultaneous measurement of immunoassays and clinical chemistry parameters including turbidimetric tests in one sample.
The 2014 MDEA (Medical Design Excellence Awards) winning products were announced in New York on June 11th during the 17th Annual MDEA Ceremony held in conjunction with MD&M East, the largest MedTech event on the East Coast.
The MDEA is the medtech industry's premier design competition committed to searching worldwide for the highest caliber finished medical devices, products, systems, or packaging available on the market. The awards program celebrates the achievements of the medical device manufacturers, their suppliers, and the many people behind the scenes - engineers, scientists, designers, and clinicians - who are responsible for the cutting-edge products that are saving lives; improving patient healthcare; and transforming medtech - one innovation at a time.
The award was accepted by delegates of DRG International (left to right): Ian Cushman, Greg Guest and Michael Martini.
