DRG International Celebrates Opening of the New Corporate Headquarters
DRG International welcomed the Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey Kim Guadagno to officiate the ribbon cutting ceremony opening the company's new worldwide headquarters in Springfield, New Jersey.
The Lieutenant Governor toured the expansive facility and spoke at length with DRG Founder and CEO, Dr. Cyril Geacintov, about DRG's market share in over 120 countries and the company expanding its research and development function in the United States.
Dr. Geacintov and the Lieutenant Governor also spoke about the ever-growing biotech industry in New Jersey and new avenues for product implementation. DRG has had its worldwide headquarters in New Jersey since 1970, and chose to establish their new, larger headquarters in the state due to the company's commitment to furthering scientific research and development in New Jersey. Chief among the highlights of the visit was the demonstration of DRG's new DRG:HYBRiD-XL desktop analyzer which will be available in market in July, 2013.
The event was also a chance for DRG International to welcome local officials in Union County as well as colleagues and friends of the company to visit the new headquarters, receive a tour and enjoy a reception to celebrate the company's move to the larger, state-of-the-art facility. Guests toured the expanded laboratory space and listened to brief commentary by Dr. Geacintov and the Lieutenant Governor.
The event was attended by DRG's North American staff and nearly 100 guests.
